On to another point, Gov. Pat Quinn is cutting benefits for some of the CITIZENS of Illinois, yet still laying out benefits and services for the ILLEGALS! Where are these cuts? Programs that help the ELDERLY and DISABLED of course! Programs like the HEAP ( Home Energy Assistance Program ) which provides help with the heating bills during the winter, and the Circuit Breaker Program that provides a rebate on property taxes paid and discounted license plate renewal fees. How about this instead, you trim the 3.5 BILLION DOLLARS per year ( based on data from a report dated June 2007, the total is probably higher now ) the State of Illinois lays out for services to the ILLEGALS!
